Healthy Hot Cross Buns
The supermarket shelves are full of hot cross buns right now, but if you’d prefer a healthy alternative to the shop-bought variety, why not try this delicious recipe (which can be adapted for those of you needing a gluten free or Paleo diet alternative too!).
You know we think it’s important to know what’s in your food – and baking your own means you can choose lower sugar, higher fibre ingredients, and use different grains to bring a bit of variety into your diet (another of our hot topics!). While you might not usually think of cakes as being a healthy snack, this alternative recipe provides a great opportunity to include some really nutritious ingredients.
